Remember those PSP ads from a few months ago? You know, the ones that had ridiculous pseudo-Mexican characters in an attempt to be 'funny'?
Here's the new billboard for the PSP White.
Hi, my name is Dora. You must be Fucking Kidding Me.
ginmar points out that this will appeal to the (young, white, male - in other words, privileged) demographic's desire to be 'rebellious,' "without, I should note, having to rebel against the system that gives them power, prestige, and legitimacy. They want rebellion lite, the kind that comes with regular hours, trendy clothes, and rebelling against not getting what they want. Jesus. How did upholding the status quo become a form of rebellion?
