Seriously, there are lots of exciting things happening - and, perhaps more importantly, lots of people who are excited with me. What a high. I don't think I could handle this for an extended period of time. XD;;

I leave for London in TWO DAYS. XO Two days, and then [insanejournal.com profile] zinjadu and I are hopping a plane bound for parts unknown. I just ... I can't even process that right now. Half of me is insanely eager, half of me is terrified. (But since I'll be with [insanejournal.com profile] zinjadu I don't think there's much to worry about.)

We've got plane tickets, hostel reservations, and theater tickets. All that's left is to pack, and learn how to use my parents' digitial camcorder so I can take videos of us being dumb. XD Oh, and hoping my debit card arrives in time for me to use on the trip ... but I'm not stressing about that, I swear.

Today, my boss told me straight out that she and my other supervisors want to hire me; all that's left is for the office to go through the technicalities of accepting eligible candidates and interviewing them (and then rejecting them ^^;;). I won't find out until I'm gone, since the job posting is open for applications until next week, but they'll notify me by email if/when I'm hired.

Yesterday was my "interview," which basically consisted of me chatting with my boss, the most recent receptionist, and another supervisor, all of whom are awesome. It ended with the supervisor giving me a high five, which makes it just about the coolest interview I've ever had. XD

Last night was a post-graduation party with my Women Studies class (the one from last autumn that I keep talking about). It's always amazing to get together with that group, because of the energy and humor and support. They also met [insanejournal.com profile] ratzeo (for real this time, not just thirty seconds of introduction between running around at graduation), and I'm very glad they all like each other. Not that I was worried about it, since I already knew they were all awesome (according to my impeccable judgment 8D).

They also introduced me to The Melting Pot, a restaurant that revolves around fondue. I join [insanejournal.com profile] kyonkun's suggestion that we go to the Queen Mary Tea Room and say that we need to go to The Melting Pot, too. Though probably not around the same time because they're pretty pricey. :o

Though money will be less of a problem when I start my full-time job, which will pay half again as well as my current wages.

And I won't be paying tuition because I'm graduated.

Though I'll probably take a pretty big hit to the bank account in London. OH WELL.

I'M KIND OF EXCITED, CAN YOU TELL? XD XD XD

Also, [insanejournal.com profile] rivendellrose, I replied to your comment on the postcard entry with a question - did you get it?
