Summary: Last time Nexus saw Vilda, she was killed by gnolls. Luckily, she was only mostly dead!
Notes: Since I was absent for the adventure in which the sidekicks showed up, I'm doing a bit of a retcon.
( There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. )
