I have that problem with rescipes all the time. I'm like "how do I make X" and they're like "buy one jar Y and add salt" and it's like "...no, you misunderstand. I want to MAKE the X and the Y all together. In my house. With ingredients."

Yeah, one time I was looking for an enchilada recipe, and I had to dig through "recipes" that said to buy a jar of enchilada sauce/packet of enchilada sauce mix. I ... think they might have just been the directions that are printed on the jar/packet. Yes, you make (a version of) the dish that way, but it seems disingenuous to call that a recipe.
