Nnnrgh. Things are incredibly busy at work, because our once-per-decade on-site accreditation review is next week. Also, I've been assigned as the escort to one of the accreditors, yaaaaaay. (I'd love for it to be this time next Thursday, kthnx.)

1. First thing you wash in the shower?
My hair. If I'm not washing my hair that day, my ears.

2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Grey. It's a plain, soft hoodie that stretches down almost to my knees. Very comfy for bumming around at home.

3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
That person was ratzeo, and yes, it's pretty easy to persuade me to kiss him.

4. Do you plan outfits?
Sometimes I do it the night before work, so I don't have to pick clothes while stumbling around half-asleep in the dark. I will most definitely be doing it next week, because I'll need to have suitably professional attire.

5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Nervous about next week.

6. What's the closest thing to you that's red?
A pen.

7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
I recall vague impressions of my recent dreams ("we were under pressure to accomplish a goal," etc.) but the last one I remember actual details about was one where we were facing some sort of invasion, either alien or zombie in nature. ratzeo was the leader of our resistance (of course), and at some point he was remotely (telepathically?) controlling this weird spider-creature in combat.

No.

9. What are you craving right now?
I've been wanting to go out to a good steak or ribs place for awhile, but my only options are either far away or too expensive.

Nightly, like a good little child.

I'd say so, yes.

No, I've never been the type to count things to go to sleep, or when I'm bored.

Yes, I like putting pretty accessories in it. My haircut is pretty unremarkable, though.

I judge myself harshly, but I like myself.

I don't think I'd be able to keep any food down.

Yes, though primarily out of love rather than out of the need for control. That makes it easier for me to accept - if not actually obey, sometimes.

I have a mild case of acrophobia, so probably not.

I don't hate it, but I don't seek it out.

Geek celebrities. The most recent and most notable was Greg Rucka at PAX 2007.

No, I generally don't watch things unless my friends sit me down and show them to me.

Not in my work area's, or my boss' (we share a space), but possibly in my co-worker's.

Outside of the U.S., I've been to England, Scotland, and skirted Canada on a family roadtrip.

Nah, I'd be too embarrassed.

I used to ride the train all the time to go home and visit my parents during college, but not so much anymore. I like it, though - cheaper than a plane, and comfortable enough that I can chill out with a book.

Is there an actual difference?

Yup.

On a regular basis, moreso in the winter.

No, I don't know how to shoot one, so that'd be a bad idea.

34. Are you too forgiving?
Mmm, I don't think so. When someone does something bad to me, I'm likely to try to excuse, minimize, or rationalize it at first - I wouldn't label that "forgiving," though, maybe just "allowing." But once I acknowledge that someone's fucked up, I tend to hold a grudge and find it hard to forgive. I refuse to forgive people who haven't apologized (and made up for it, if applicable) and actually learned something. If they don't, they're not worth my time.

35. Ever been in love?
Once, and still am.

36. What is your best friend(s) doing tomorrow?
ratzeo is going to run game for us. I think kyonkun is going to work, sadly. My feline best friend will probably sleep all day, and then scold us when we get home for leaving him alone.

Yes! I love the ones at Than Brothers.

Some time within the past week or so. It was because I was feeling (surprise!) stressed and under-confident.

Late spring/early summer, when we're guaranteed warmth and sunshine without getting uncomfortably hot.

No, though I've wanted one since high school. I just want to make sure it's the one I want.

That tends to be my style of humor more than, say, slapstick.

A few times. I'm far more likely to walk into a doorframe, because I'm chronically underestimating the width of my hips.

Deep blue, or solid red.

I have to work to get it wavy. I used to lament this fact quite strongly when I was a kid.

My last CD order was: Vienna Teng's Inland Territory, the Dixie Chicks' Fly, Shakira's Oral Fixation Vol. 2, and the aforementioned Pink album.

49. Do looks matter?
To whom? Yes, they certainly matter in the world, and the skewed standards by which they are judged is something I've railed against plenty of times. For me, yes, but to a different extent and by different standards than the general population.

50. Could you ever forgive a cheater?
See above re: forgiveness. I doubt it.

51. Is your phone bill sky high?
It's a cell phone bill, so it's higher than I'd like, but it's par for the course. Also, once my company discount kicks in it'll be better.

52. Do you like your life right now?
Yes. There are things I'm unhappy with, largely centered on my own efforts, but I believe it's within my capability to fix them. And in pure survival terms, I'm ridiculously privileged.

53. Do you sleep with the TV on?
No, that seems wasteful to me.

54. Can you handle the truth?
In all honesty, I don't handle harsh truths well immediately upon hearing them. I need a little time to process, though I'd like to think that once that happens I do whatever that truth necessitates.

Not by a longshot.

56. Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?
I can't think of 3 individual people, though I know I don't like everyone I know. I'm more likely to dismiss hate-able people as not worth my time. I guess I think my contempt is a more suitable punishment than my hate. :P

Much less at work now that I'm not the receptionist. Besides that, I talk to my parents every week or so.
