For Seattle-area folks

I just found out that the folks who run Cedars Restaurant on the Ave have lost their lease and will be leaving. The restaurant will stay open under new ownership.

The hearsay-but-possibly-still-useful info: My coworkers wanted to make one last trip to Cedars, but when we called we were told that the new ownership is already taking over, using new recipes. The old owners suggested that we instead go to the other restaurant they own, Taste of India.

Also, the biannual Friends of the Seattle Public Library book sale is this weekend! I keep telling myself I should stop going, because I have more books than shelf space, but I might go at least to raid the graphic novel room ...

I have a friend who rented a car specifically for this book sale, so she could get all the books home. :D

Also, remember that if the parental units do decide to come up on Saturday that may bite into your book sale time. :x

Well, I would go as soon as it opens, which means I probably would get back by 11:00. I don't think they'd get here any earlier than that, I hope.
