I like to do things in marathons

The past few hours were mostly made up of this:

"Coloring six Japanese teenagers' skin is kind of monotonous."

"... So is coloring four Japanese girls' long black hair. At least Nariko is bald."

"Hey, this coloring effect is pretty nice - OH GOD THE MARKER FELL AND DREW A LINE ACROSS KYOKO'S FACE WHY IS THERE NO UNDO FUNCTION IN MARKERS?"

"I hope Gaia doesn't end up looking like the Jolly Green Giant."

"... Hey, I can't discern the smell of markers anymore. Uh-oh."

Bed now. Man, am I going to hate work tomorrow.

Unfortunately it's nothing too complex. Drawing all eight Guardians was enough of a challenge for me. :P I'll bring it with me to game on Sunday.

Yeah, one of mine incorporates all 8 of the Guardians, and it took me forevEH to do it. Props to you to getting it all done in such a short time :D

It helped that I didn't draw anything below their shoulders. XD

One thing I really liked about drawing all 8 at once is that I *had* to make everyone distinctive, since they're all in the same image (as I'm sure you had to deal with, too). I'm more confident in my ability to do this now, though I continue to have trouble making the twins look like *twins*. :P

Yeah, I did some things for all the Japanese characters... Ichiro's hair is black/purple, Nariko is dark brown, Miya is black/gray, Kyoko is black/blue, and I do the twins with layered grays, with Sae one shade darker than her sister's.

When all was said and done, mine turned out better than I was feeling it would be. Yay!

I'm glad I didn't have to draw Nariko with hair so there would be yet another long-haired Japanese girl. :P

Congratulations on finishing both of your drawings! Am I allowed to see them early (i.e. prior to the calendar release date) on Sunday? :D

One is timed before Nariko went bald (and Ichiro went "punk" and Gunnar went Shorn Warrior of God), so they are all old designs. The other one with Nariko was drawn and colored before Nariko went bald, so she's stuck with hair in that picture ;)
