Uck, yes, ruts are nasty. I'm glad you got past yours. (I'm not sure about requests, either. [insanejournal.com profile] ratzeo gave me one the other day, and my reaction was "I'm not good enough to draw _____ D:" and mentally curl up into a ball. :P)
