sigelphoenix | Progress update

Have broken 600 words on my paper. Go me! It only has to be ~5 pages (shortest final paper I've ever written, yay), which my professor says is around 1250 words, so I'm halfway there. And it's only due in 5 hours. XD;;;

I did intend to get more done over the weekend, but my Friday was compromised by a minor sick episode, and then Saturday night was the holiday party at Grimmauld. I spent the morning making caramel-milk-chocolate-swirled-chip cookies, which turned out well. I'm unreasonably proud of my recent cookie successes. XD And maybe now that I've established that I can follow a recipe I can move on to more complicated projects. XD;;

The party itself was delightfully fun, with lots of people, lots of food, and a tree piled with shiny wrapped presents. And also a gingerbread House of Sin. XD;;; Kudos to

chasdini for quite possibly one of the geekiest presents imaginable. And yes, we listened to the "Anthem of the Verge Confederation." XD XD XD)

Now I just need to finish this paper, kick the ass of my final on Wednesday morning, and then I get to party (and go to work) for the rest of the week. :D
