Today, for the final class meeting for my Women Studies course, we met for an informal lunch. We started talking about birthdays and astrological signs, and I explained that my birthday was right on the cusp between Sagittarius and Capricorn (7 minutes earlier that night and I would have been the former instead of the latter), which is a strange combination of earth and fire signs. My instructor said that made me a volcano, and a classmate called me "Mount St. Helens."

Which is just about the best interpretation I've heard about my astrological oddity. XD I'm sure it would feel accurate to people who think that I'm quiet and timid (which I am) until I go tearing off on a rant about this or that injustice (which I do).

Also, my classmate is directing the campus production of The Vagina Monologues this year's V-Day! I hadn't been sure if I would watch it this year, but now I'm definitely going. I'll make an announcement when the performance dates approach so interested parties can go too.
