A couple of my co-workers were talking, when another co-worker showed up.

Co-worker 1: Hey, C2, what ever happened to him?
Co-worker 2: I suspect he dissipated and was absorbed into the cosmic ether according to the laws of entropy.
C1: *pause* Well, I guess it happens to the best of us.
C2: Yup.
C1: Do you know who we were talking about?
C2: Not a clue.

They were asking about the whereabouts of comedian Flip Wilson, btw. They continued to talk about the death of the sun, and C2 mentioned that the estimate has been changed from 7 billion years to 4 billion years.

C2: That's a loss of three billion years. I was going to do things with that time ... I was going to paint the garage! This distresses me. *pause* I'll manage somehow. A lot of pizza will get me through this.

Everyone should have this much personality this early in the morning.
