ratzeo took this video of me playing with Drannor on Sunday. Maybe I'm misjudging older cats, but I find Drannor's play energy pretty darn impressive.
... Kershach, on the other hand, is Pouty McPouterson. Poor guy. He's still working on remembering/being reminded that his humans still love him just as much.
Eight is usually still a pretty active age for a cat, unless they're unhealthy. My cat growing up didn't slow down much until he was eleven or so, and that was mostly because of some old injuries that started giving him more trouble as he got older.
Drannor's only a year or so older than Theoden, anyway, and Theo's still plenty rambunctious when he wants to be. ;)

Right now he's being more rambunctious than Kershach, at least when the humans are around, because Kershach is still sulking at us. :P
