It's impressive in a sad sort of way. Someone pushed your buttons, and you were only too happy to flip into rant mode.
Bad act does not equal bad person. You say that, and then you rant. For six pages, if I were printing this, which I'm not. Rather destroys any hope of believing your caveat.
How you get "paean" out of Steve's stated admiration is beyond me.
Next you'll say that I'm not a feminist because I don't fit your definition...
Steven Brust, not Stephen, which you might notice had you taken the time. Or maybe not. You already presume that you know everything about Steve's life. I'm not sure how. Steve wrote something that you disagreed with vehemently. This means you understand him?
And now that I've riled you up by disagreeing further, I imagine more ranting will come of this.

Alas, Anonytroll probably won't see this because trolling is often a hit-and-run action, but ... I hope that somehow, somewhere, Anonytroll's heart is warmed to know that it outsmarted a random person on the Internet. It's a laudable goal in life and I wish Anonytroll success in its endeavors.
