Random stuff

- Utada Hikaru's new album Ultra Blue is actually pretty good. (I say "actually" because I was kind of disappointed by Exodus and it's so hard to trust again. *sniff*) It makes good work music because it keeps me from getting sleepy in the office. maho_kiwi, it might be good for your work music, too.

- I spent a lazy morning drawing in front of the TV while watching the World Cup. Actually, I didn't get all that much drawing done because I kept going ZOMG! at all the close calls. (But, of course, nearly missing the actual goals scored by England.) I really like watching soccer, but I haven't done so in a long time.

- Tonight my best friend from high school arrives for a brief visit before heading across the Atlantic. (One more year of college here in Seattle for another degree suddenly seems a lot less exciting. XD;;) I really suck at entertaining people, but I think I can manage not to let her get bored for one day. |D

- Saturday is game! W00t!

- In the meantime, I spend my energy making such vital decisions as what to read next. I'm halfway through Kushiel's Scion (thanks again to the lovely shadawyn and irishninja), but I also checked out from the library a feminism/pop culture book called Female Chauvinist Pigs. And then if I want pictures (WORDS R HARD) I have a bunch of trades of either Fables or Y: The Last Man (thanks again to the lovely ratzeo).

And this is pretty much the extent of my daily life right now. I like the look of my summer. :D
