Everyone has gone home early.
The president said it was okay to go home early.
Why am I not going home early??

What can I say, though -- I don't have anywhere to be right now, and I might as well get paid for the hour or so of my time. And besides, if I don't get cracking on this pile of contracts I need to alpha-sort, it'll just be waiting for me come Tuesday. *pokes pile*
Oh, and I've realized that there's an advantage to telephones, at least when it comes to customer service: you can roll your eyes and make faces when customers are being assmunches, and you don't get in trouble. Whee!
